Jenny Recommends...

Jenny is the epitome of class. So much so that she really should have lived in the days of Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy. You should see the pictures of her hiking. She has on a pearl necklace. Check facebook. Believe me, never have I been around someone that so regularly gets compliments... on everything. She has impecable taste. Clothes, hair, decorating, events she attends, food, wine, vacations, having me as a friend, etc. (Mind you, when she reads this she will be both flattered and a little embarassed by my lavish praise)

So when Jenny recently started a blog, I was thrilled that she titled it "Jenny Recommends..." It's perfect. And I highly recommend her blog to you.

Jenny and I got together last month for the Richmond Wine Expo. Later, we walked around downtown (I'm not from Richmond, so maybe it just looked like a downtown) and had dinner at the Hard Shell.

I gave up meat for Lent (except for seafood). Thank goodness the steakhouse next door didn't look as cool.

Whirlwind

March has only been here for a short time, and yet it has been my craziest month this year! However, I am loving every minute.

This weekend Brad and I only had a short window of time where we had nothing planned. Normally, we might take that opportunity to catch up on all the errands we ignored during the week, but the weather was spring-like for the first time this year and we decided to take advantage!

We went to the local state park and strolled along the river.

I hope more nice weather is upon us.
