I adore the moment a bride's father sees her in her dress for the first time.
Emma and Jordan opted to see each other before the ceremony for a First Look. I highly recommend the First Look to all my couples. When you see your future husband/wife for the first time on your wedding day, it is always emotional. To have the opportunity to revel in that emotion together, away from all your guests, is a gift that I wish everyone could experience.
Plus, that means that we get... wait for it... more pictures! Not to mention, we can get all your formal pictures out of the way in advance and allow you to enjoy the day more fully.
Aren't they such a beautiful couple?!
This would have been me as a child. And because of that, I adore her.
This may be the perfect kiss. If it was a movie, I couldn't have scripted it this beautifully. Excited to be married!
I had to show you the difference in the two parent-child dances. I can't decide which I enjoyed more.
The excited, celebratory dance of Emma and her fatheror the emotional, pull at your heartstrings dance of Jordan with his mother. I was overwhelmed by how the silent conversation between these two could drown out the large number of people in the room and the song playing just for them. As the sun started to set, we had to get just a couple more shots.
You may recall the awesome high five shot from their engagement session. Only fitting that we have one from the wedding.
This horse cracked us up. He was fishing for mints. Who even knew you could feed horses peppermint candies? Emma grew up around horses and he made a lovely addition to some of our sunset photos.
